Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Anil Kapoor seems to be on a roll, after releasing his look in the popular US cartoon comedy show Family Guy we hear that the actor has acquired the remake rights of another TV series. In fact after acquiring and remaking the US crime drama show 24, Anil Kapoor has now acquired the remake rights of Prison Break.
Confirming the same, Kapoor stated that though he has acquired the rights of the show, it is only for the first season and will contemplate on remaking other seasons after analysing the response to the first season. Further talking about remaking the series, Kapoor added that he would commence work on the same once he has wrapped up work on his currently underproduction season of 24. However, unlike the adaptation of 24, Anil Kapoor states that he might not feature in the adaptation of Prison Break.
As for the show, Prison Break that is currently in its fifth season is based on the story of two brothers, one who is incarcerated for a heinous crime and the other who is bent on assisting his brother to escape.
