USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Two years ago, it was announced that Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Chitrangda Singh will be coming together for a movie. The filmed titled Babumoshai Bandookbaaz was supposed to go on floors in 2014 but didn't due to several issues in the production department.
In December 2014, the film was scheduled to start shooting in Kolkata followed by Bolpur and Burdwan in West Bengal. But reports suggested that there were many issues in the technical team department and due to delay in payments, the production was halted. It looked like that the film was completely scrapped and probably won't see the light of the day.
Now, it is confirmed that the film finally be back on track with both Chitrangda Singh and Nawazuddin Siddiqui on board. The first schedule of the shooting begins in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Filmmaker Kushan Nandy confirmed that the film is rolling today and the unit will be shooting at Chintan Dev road in Lucknow.
It is good to hear that the project is starting again. Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be seen in Amitabh Bachchan-Vidya Balan starrer Te3n which is releasing this Friday. On the other hand, Chitrangda Singh will be seen after a long time on the silver screen.
