"I would love to do a sequel of Andaaz Apna Apna with Salman if the script is good," said Aamir Khan at the press conference for Dangal at the on location in Lel village near Ludhiana. Aamir was told about the reports of Andaaz Apna Apna 2 and which of the actors according to him should be cast in that. Aamir refused to name any actors. "I loved the teaser and promo of Sultan and I am excitedly looking forward to it this Eid. Dangal and Sultan have nothing much in common," Aamir said.
"I am excitedly looking forward to watching Sultan. All the films of Salman are very entertaining," Aamir added. The genuine mutual admiration of Aamir and Salman was on display today once again when Aamir said that he's a fan of Salman as an actor and as someone who has promoted fitness in the country.
Khan gave the scientific reasoning behind losing weight in less time. "I consumed 1500 calories and I burned around 5000 calories each day. I was doing three hours of hiking, two hours of cycling and a lot many more physical activities," Aamir informed. "When I was hearing the story of Dangal, I was crying but I was laughing a lot too. It is like Rajkumar Hirani sort of filmmaking," Aamir said. "Dangal goes beyond wrestling. It is a human story, it is a story of emotions, socially relevant and very entertaining too," Khan said thoughtfully.
Aamir congratulated the team of Udta Punjab that has weathered many a battles in the recent times and is all set to releasing in theatres tomorrow. He also came down heavily on the leaking of the film. He compared it to stealing and asked for strict action. Aamir also urged that the whole country should come together in supporting the freedom of expression of filmmakers since a filmmaker works on a film for two to three years and deserves all the support.
Aamir also rubbished all the rumours that stated that Dangal shall be releasing on December 16. He confirmed that the film is indeed releasing on December 23, 2016. Mr Khan also informed that the team of Satyamev Jayate is working with the Government and they are aiming that India will become drought free in three to four years.
