While she has been a part of successful blockbusters before, Sonakshi Sinha is all set to play the hero in the upcoming film Akira. The woman oriented action packed drama features the actress doing high octane stunts and it seems that she even suffered a few injuries whilst performing these sequences.
The social media lover Sonakshi Sinha recently posted a picture of her bruised arm, a throwback of sorts from the sets of Akira, on her Instagram page saying, "Nope, i dint tattoo the map of USA on my arm. That is an actual bruise from shooting action for #Akira. From kicking ass. Black and blue for real. Bruised and battered but never given up. (Its gone now dont worry) #nopainnogain #battlescars #toughgirl #bossgirl #throwback." While she has already wrapped the shoot of the film, the recently released trailer did fetch some good reviews for the actress.
Directed by A R Murugadoss, Akira also stars Konkona Sen Sharma, Anurag Kashyap, Amit Sadh in prominent roles and is slated to release on September 2.
