Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Few months ago we had reported that Richa Chadda has decided to take her passion for short films a step further by turning producer. Her forthcoming production Khoon Aali Chithi is now all set to go to the Melbourne Indian Film Festival.

The said film festival kick starts on August 11 and Richa Chadda is all set to fly to Australia to attend the same. The Punjabi short film Khoon Aali Chithi, which talks about a couple, is all set to be showcased at the festival. The film, directed by Rupinder Singh, is set amidst the backdrop of terrorism during the 80s and 90s.

Prior to this we had reported that Rishi Kapoor has been conferred with an honour for his contribution to Indian cinema during the festival and he will also be hoisting the flag on August 15 as a part of the festival in Melbourne. On the other hand, Vidya Balan, who is the face of MIFF, too will be present during the festival which will revolve around the theme of women empowerment this year.
