Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Kangna Ranaut recently seems to have approached the RTO (Regional Transport Office) for a transfer of driving license from Himachal Pradesh (which is her hometown) to Maharashtra since she currently resides in Mumbai. However, the RTO office at Andheri (Suburban Mumbai) has put the process of the same on hold owing to improper documents.
From what we hear, for the change of address and transfer of driving license, the RTO requires original license and local address proof along with a No Objection Certificate since a third party has applied for the same. However, one of the RTO officials claim that though the form has been submitted, the other documents except the NOC are missing. Transport official MB Jadhav added that he has asked for the submission of two important documents for the process of transfer to continue.
On the other hand, Kangna Ranaut and her spokesperson have denied receiving any such request or communication from the RTO but stated that they will act accordingly when they receive the same.
