It is a known fact that Deepika Padukone is all set to make her Hollywood debut in XXX: Return of Xander Cage alongside Vin Diesel. Even before the debut, Deepika Padukone has created quite a buzz in the West and has also been featured in Vanity Fair's Hollywood's Next Generation video as one of the upcoming promising stars.
While Deepika Padukone is trying to make a mark in the West, she is also thankful for all support she has been receiving. But, it doesn't end here. Recently, Deepika opened up about her Hollywood debut and praised Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for her contribution globally. Readers may recall that Aishwarya had made her Hollywood debut very early in her career. Talking about the same, Deepika considers Aishwarya as the torch bearer for putting Indian stars on the global map.
Deepika Padukone further added that she along with Priyanka Chopra, Anil Kapoor and Irrfan Khan have managed to break stereotypes in the western market as they got the opportunity at the right time. They got the roles for their talent and not because of their skin colour.
On the work front, Deepika Padukone is collaborating with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for third time for another magnum opus project titled Padmavati.
