USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…The two highly anticipated films, Rustom and Mohenjo Daro, are ready for the clash this weekend. On one hand, Rustom is based on a real-life story whereas Mohenjo Daro is a period drama. Now, we have got the confirmation that Pakistan censor board has passed both the films and given them Universal certificate.

Confirming the news, Pakistan CBFC chairman Mobashir Hasan said that Rustom was passed by a majority of their members with excisions and was rated Universal.

In case of Mohenjo Daro, Mobashir Hasan explained that when it came to movies with historical topics, their board had a provision to bring in co-opt members apart from the usual five-member panel. So, they brought in Syed Waqar Ali Shah, who is the chairperson of the history department at Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad, along with Mashood Mirza from the department of archaeology and museums. After watching the film, the panel didn't have any objections and the film was ready to hit the screens. But, Mohenjo Daro did face minor cuts due to the kissing scenes. Apart from that, the film was good to go.

Directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, Akshay Kumar's Rustom also stars Ileana D'cruz, Esha Gupta and Arjan Bajwa in pivotal roles. Hrithik Roshan's Mohenjo Daro is directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar and marks the debut of Pooja Hegde
