USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Earlier, we had reported that Tiger Shroff was in talks with Karan Johar for the sequel of Student of the Year. We can now confirm that Tiger Shroff will be leading in the much awaited sequel.

After a lot of speculations and curiosity, Karan Johar took to his twitter account to confirm the news about Tiger Shroff playing the lead and Punit Malhotra directing the film. He wrote, "It's OFFICIAL….Directed by Punit Malhotra STUDENT OF THE YEAR 2 (SOTY2) with TIGER SHROFF @iTIGERSHROFF."

While Tiger Shroff is onboard, the rest of the cast is yet to be finalized. Student of the Year had marked the debut of the rising stars Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra.

Karan Johar is currently busy with his directorial venture Ae Dil Hai Mushkil which stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan whereas Tiger Shroff is on promotional tour for his upcoming superhero flick A Flying Jatt starring Jacqueline Fernandez.
