Ranbir Kapoor reveals being ignored by Hollywood celebs Natalie Portman and Quentin Tarantino

Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Ranbir Kapoor, who will be next seen in Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, recently opened up about several aspects of his life in an exclusive interview with Rajeev Masand. The actor spoke about his failures, his break-up and the time he was ignored by big names in Hollywood.

During the conversation, Ranbir Kapoor opened up about being star struck seeing certain Hollywood stars and being ignored by them. He spoke about the time he ran behind Natalie Portman in Tribeca in New York where she was on the phone and he didn't realize if she was crying. He quickly went behind and said 'I love your…' and before he could say 'work', Natalie turned to him and said 'Get lost' and walked away.

It wasn't the first time this kind of incident happened with Ranbir Kapoor. During the interview, he revealed that he saw filmmaker Quentin Tarantino promoting The Hateful Eight when they were shooting for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in London. When he heard the news that Tarantino was promoting the film in the same building, he ran to meet him. He just wanted a photo and autograph from him as he has been a big fan of Tarantino's work. When Tarantino came to the car, he waved before getting in his car while Ranbir kept shouting Quentin for a picture but that never happened. Later, Ranbir was teased for a week on Ae Dil Hai Mushkil set. But, he never felt bad about it.

Ranbir Kapoor did mention that he met Jake Gyllenhaal once and he was extremely nice.

On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil starring Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is slated to release on October 28, 2016.
