USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Sonakshi Sinha is gearing up for her upcoming release Akira which is an action drama made by A.R. Murugadoss. From appearing on reality shows to doing several press interviews, the actress is all set for her female-centric film.
One knows that Sonakshi Sinha's favourite co-star of all time is Akshay Kumar with whom she has worked in six films. Readers may recall that Sonakshi promoted Akshay's Rustom in a unique way by playing drums. To return the favour, Akshay shared a video where he talked about women doing the impossible and praised Sonakshi's action sequences in Akira. He wrote, "Heard she's mastered the art of kicking in this one Looking forward to see @aslisona in and as #Akira."
Sonakshi Sinha was quick to respond to this gesture and reposted the video by saying, "Kickin it like khiladi!!! Thank you @akshaykumar for always believing i could do this!!!"
Produced and directed by A.R. Murugadoss, Akira is a remake of Tamil film Mouna Guru which stars Anurag Kashyap, Konkona Sen Sharma and Amit Sadh in pivotal roles and is scheduled to release on 2 September 2016.
