Aashiqui 2 Movie Review : Waste Of Time & Money

Expectations are certainly higher when a sequel of any superhit film is announced. But let’s be extremely clear right here, Aashiqui 2 isn’t a sequel of Aashiqui, the only factor typical in between the two films is just the name! Rather than reminding us concerning the old Aashiqui, which produced each Rahul Roy and Anu Agarwal immediate stars, Aashiqui 2 reminds us much more of Amitabh-Jaya starer Abhimaan. But alas, neither the film has such powerful story as Abhimaan nor the energy packed performances.

Story
Rahul Jaykar (Aditya Roy Kapur) is really a singing sensation. He falls in adore using the beautiful voice of Aarohi (Shraddha Kapoor). Aarohi, who sings at little joints, also desires to make an identity within the music business. Rahul decides to assist Aarohi to fulfil her dream. He builds up her self-confidence as well as arranges for her audition using the music baron. Later (as anticipated), they each fall in adore with one another. But their life turns upside down when Aarohi becomes a large star whilst Rahul’s profession begins to diminish. To save her adore and fragile partnership, Aarohi decides to provide up her profession as she believes – Adore Tends to make Life Reside!!!

Performances
Nicely, 1 great factor concerning the film is Aditya Roy Kapur’s performance. Not just he’s great searching but can also be a great actor. He has proved this currently in his previous films like Guzaarish, Action Replayy and London Dreams. But Shraddha Kapoor disappointed us. No doubt, she appears extremely fairly within the film however the actress certainly requirements to function on her acting abilities. Although director Mohit Suri has attempted to create it a great, neat and clean film, the film’s poor writing has ruined his difficult function. There’s absolutely nothing new that Aashiqui 2 can provide to its audience.

Music
Music is certainly the highlight of Aashiqui 2. ‘Tum hi ho’ song, that is currently a hit on YouTube, is extremely melodious as well as other songs like ‘Bhula Dena’, ‘Sunn Raha Hai’ are also extremely great to hear. The credit goes to Mithoon, Jeet Ganguly and Ankit Tiwari for composing such soulful tunes.

Verdict
The climax from the film isn’t as much as the mark and can disappoint you. Watch this film only if you’re a die difficult fan of Bhatt films or have absolutely nothing else to complete. Otherwise, just give this film a miss. We give the film 2.five stars – 1.five stars to Aashiqui 2 and additional 1 for Aditya Roy Kapur’s acting and movie’s music.
