One man charged after assaulting Toronto parking officer

Toronto Police arrest one man for assaulting one of their parking officer. It is alleged that on Thursday, December 1, 2016, at approximately 2 p.m., a Parking Enforcement Officer was enforcing the pay and display offences on Vaughan Road. A ticket was placed on the windshield of a car parked on Vaughan Road, near St. Clair Avenue West as the Parking Enforcement Officer continued checking cars for violations, a man approached the officer in a very aggressive manner upset with the ticket he received the man assaulted the officer 

On Thursday, December 29, 2016, the man surrendered to police. Larry Leschaloupe, 68, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with Assaulting a Peace Officer

He is scheduled to appear in court on Friday, January 27, 2017, at 1000 Finch Avenue West, at 1 p.m., in courtroom 301.
