On Thursday, June 20, 2019, members of the Toronto Police Sex Crimes – Child Exploitation Section, executed a search warrant in the Brimley Road and McNicoll Avenue area.
It is alleged that:
– a man chatted online via social media applications with a child
As a result of evidence gathered by police, Matthew Guit, 31, of Toronto, was arrested. He is charged with:
1) Luring
2) Make Child Pornography
3) Invitation to Sexual Touching
4) Possess Child Pornography
5) Access Child Pornography
He was scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Thursday, June 20, 2019, at 2 p.m.
He used the following online identities:

Police are concerned there may be additional victims.
