Dylan Camier charged for breaking into a Hamilton home

Hamilton Police arrested a man after he was found hiding in the basement of the home he just broke into.

On Sunday, December 12th, 2010 at approximately 1:30 a.m., Hamilton Police responded to a 9-1-1 call from the residents of a home on Ottawa St. S. The family of four woke up to the sounds of glass breaking. The family gathered together and secured themselves in one of the bedrooms and called police after hearing someone ransacking their home.

Hamilton Police responded and searched the home finding a suspect hiding in the basement. The suspect was arrested without incident. He was searched and several items belonging to the homeowners were found in is possession.

Charged: Dylan CAMIER, 19 yrs. of Hamilton
Charges: Break, Enter and Theft Under $5,000.00
Possession Under $5,000.00
Fail to Comply with Recognizance x 2
