Cordially congratulating Donald J. Trump on his US presidential win, Hindus are looking forward to work together and closely with the upcoming Trump administration on various issues concerning Hindus.

Distinguished Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, in a statement in Nevada today, said that they were hopeful of close relations with the Trump administration.

Zed, who is President of Universal Society of Hinduism, indicated that they hoped that Trump’s leadership would open new opportunities for our co-operation based on shared commitment to democratic ideals.

Rajan Zed pointed out that US Hindus had made lot of contributions to the nation and society and were known for their traditional values of hard work, higher morals, stress on education, sanctity of marriage, etc.

Zed also congratulated Hindus elected to U.S. House of Representatives—Tulsi Gabbard, Raja Krishnamoorthi, Ro Khanna and Pramila Jayapal; state legislatures— Prasad Srinivasan, Niraj Antani, Ash Kalra, Jay Chaudhuri, etc.; and various other bodies across USA; over their respective victories. We urge these Hindu elected leaders to seriously and wholeheartedly undertake the issues concerning the Hindu community and attempt to address those, Zed added.

There are about one billion Hindus worldwide, including about three million in USA.
