Congratulations!!! That is so wonderful news for our community!
I know Harnoor who is a wonderful youth volunteer leader and an activist. He has a robust artistic practice and has curated number of shows in the GTA to fundrise for charities. He has visited India and Hong Kong to engage other youth in their respective communities. Recently he represented his Sikh faith at the Annual World Religion Day ceremonies in Dunnville, Ontario. As any new Canadian, he had his own challenges. It was very difficult for him to enter into mainstream arts and cultural scene. But with his dedication and motivation experience and several voluntary positions, he was able to succeed as a great role model for youth of his age!
Harnoor advocates that volunteering can be started anytime and anywhere and you jut need a motivation to start it! He has won several awards and inspired many immigrants especially young newcomers from a youth perspective looking to make a right fit in Canada.
Harnoor, Congratulation for being selected as Canada’s top 15 under 15!!
YOU rock Harnoor!
