Chinese Flowing Walnut Pudding Recipe

Flowing Walnut Pudding 


1/2 lb. walnut

4 cups water, divided

1/3 brown sugar

2/3 cup rice flour


Grind the walnut until it is very fine.

Add into 3 cups of boiling water and simmer for 30 minutes in a saucepan.

Strain and discard the residue with a cheesecloth.

Add sugar, rice flour and another cup of water to the strained milk. And mix well.

Heat to boiling while stirring constantly to avoid burning. Then simmer over very low fire for 3 minutes. Serve hot.
