To start off with the comfort food, soup tops our list. Winter is the time to try various soup recipes such as veggie soup, hot & sauce soup, chicken corn soup, carrot & ginger soup etc. Soup is healthy, nutritious, and delicious and you should maximize the winter fun by making it every week or twice in a month at least. Make sure you add a variety of veggies in the soup such as cauliflower, broccoli, pumpkin, carrots, potato, lentils, and beans etc.
Pastas & Pizzas are two other comfort foods that make the winter very special. There is immense variety in pastas with which you can surely make winters special for your family. Do try macaroni, spaghetti, penne, linguine, tagliatelle, and conchiglie with spicy sauces such as pesto. Pizzas, likewise, can be made and served with mozzarella cheese, tomato paste, seafood, minced ham, chicken and a mixture of vegetables and chilly and pepper.
