Spokesman of the premier, Mafu Davids informed the press that there is no specified date of the premier being discharged. She is under treatment and no date can be given for sure when she will resume her office again. He said, “According to her doctor, her condition remains stable. She is wide awake but is under observation and receiving intensive care”.

Mr. Davids also said, “She will need a long rest and won’t go back to work immediately”.

Viewing the uncertain health situation of the premier, the Northern Cape legislature has called for a meeting tomorrow morning to review the case and appoint an acting-premier for the time being.
