Dominic Otwari Theodore of the United Sudan African Party (USAP) in a statement says that the Commissioners from the counties need to be empowered to mobilise the poor people in rural areas.
“Enhancing sustainability and utilisation of natural resources, ecology and human resources plus improved moral and hope to produce must be prioritised,” says USAP in a statement.
The group says the government needs to enlighten the civil society to create an enabling environment for ensuring the protection of human rights.
To increase family incomes, the group advises that modern agricultural and animal production methods need to be adopted.
The group is calling on communities to diversify and avoid over reliance on animal resources which cause conflicts in the state.
