Deputy Governor Hussein Maar Nyuot announced the appointment adding that the ministry is the heart of government and that they will be making a full appointment after consultations are done.
Aruo had previously served the government as Minister for Legal Affairs in the state and will serve as caretaker until a new appointment is done.
Aruo appealed to the ministers to cooperate with him in the new capacity so that he can implement the government policies as stipulated.
“I am appealing to your leadership to cooperate with me in the public service so that I can implement good duties in the ministry,” he said.
The former Minister of Labour and Public Service Rachael Nyadak Paul was sacked by the governor under unclear circumstances.
