Eye witnesses approximated that the raiders took away more than 400 heads of cattle during the incident that also resulted in the arrest of two of the raiders suspected to have come from Cueibet County in Lakes State.
Authorities are making necessary arrangements to pursue the raiders.
This is not the first time for a raid to happen in the area and both Warrap and Lake States have in the past discussed on the mechanisms of handling such issues which create conflicts between two states.
The teams from the states last year agreed to deploy police forces along the common boarder to crackdown on cattle raiders but the two state governments do lack adequate police personnel to carry out patrols.
