Malek said that more than 200 applicants in Western Bahr el Ghazal state missed their Passports and Nationality documents after there was a technical hitch during the photo production process in Juba.

Most of those who had applied had complained for the delay in processing their documents.

“We are actually facing one difficulty in production since its one machine producing all these documents for thousands of people in needs across ten states and we hope that everybody who had last week completed his or her process but did not get the documents and has to bear and resort to take other photos,” said Malek.

The production of documents branch was launched in December 2012 in Wau by South Sudan Deputy Minister of Interior Salva Mathok alongside the former Inspector General of Police Achuil Tito as part of reducing the state residents travelling distance in acquiring the documents.
