The state council of ministers during a meeting with the Non Governmental Organizations (NGO) also came up with resolutions to have regular engagements between the partners to establish better work records to enable close cluster coordination and empowering the state director general to plan effectively.

State Governor Rizik Zackaria Hassan urged both UN agencies and clusters in the state ministers to implement all resolutions for easy participating in the development sectors.

He described the meeting as a good way forward to create relationship between organizations and state clusters as part of fulfilling the state government’s mandate with organizations.

Some organizations who are much concerned to start up their activities were asking the state ministers to identify their clusters partners.

Wau Teaching Hospital Director General Dr. Bakit Mawein called on health partner organization to help the hospital with necessary facilities.

“However Wau Teaching Hospital is under national minister of health, we are really faced with many challenges including the fuel,” he said.

The hospital also serves the neighbouring Lakes, Warrap and Northern Bahr el Ghazal states and it is hoped that any health partnership should offer support to help the facility deliver services to the vulnerable.
