The Governor who was accompanied by several of his state ministers signed several deals with China Communications and Construction Company Limited (CCCC), a statement read by the CES Cabinet Minister Scopas Dima said.

The projects are mainly on areas of economic growth, agriculture and including improvement on infrastructure.

The duo signed a memorandum of understanding on three projects; construction of Juba Cargo Logistics Airport, Development and Building of Infrastructure in the Juba Special Economic Zone and Bulk Grain Silos and Food Warehouses.

Other projects also with deal stroke upon include; milk and yogurt processing factory, fruit juice processing plant and development and improvement of agriculture sector in CES.

The duo also agreed to improve internal roads within the capital, Juba instead of bettering rural roads to boost farmers’ production efforts in agriculture.

The Minister of Cabinet Affairs was unable to outline how much worth the cost of the projects are, arguing that feasibility study on several of the projects is yet to start in order to establish the cost of the projects.

CES Deputy Governor Manasseh Lomole exclusively explained that, the lobby is aimed at bettering service delivery in the State.
