MSF Operations Ends In WES

 

YAMBIO, 12 March 2015 [Gurtong] – Speaking on Wednesday the Coordinator for MSF Spain, madam Daphne Henry said MSF has been operating in Western Equatoria state for the last 12 years until their contract came to an end in the year 2013.

She said that the contract was then further extended for another two years which has now come to an end as well.

Madam Daphne added that MSF has worked so hard looking after children and also expectant mothers with their main base in the Yambio state hospital.

Meanwhile Dr Ismail Mohamed   in the state civil hospital gave his thanks for the great work done by the MSF at the state hospital especially the health care given to the children and expectant mothers adding that as a government they are happy for the good working spirit shown by the organization.

Ismail further stated that they have got other organizations to reinforce and to continue with the work MSF has been doing and of which world vision, CMMB, WHO and UNCIFE are coming to work with both the primary units and the secondary units.

Dr Betty Muse from the world vision said world vision has opened their centers in all the health care centers in Yambio County and is accessible to all.
