WAU November 5th, 2015 (Gurtong) – In a statement released on Wednesday by the USSAP party, “We are sorry for these senseless accusations made that the USSAP which has no links with the SPLM party was behind the nomination of Wau State Caretaker Governor,” reads part of the statement.

USSAP has also warned individuals who are accusing their party to stay clear of their peaceful party.

“I want to ensure you that if you have a problem in your area, don’t transfer it to the peace areas.”

The USSAP Chairperson was accused of holding a meeting with the SPLM last month to nominate the Wau State Caretaker Governor, a move that has since been denied by the party.

“I want to make it clear to you that last month’s meeting held at the house of USSAP party Chairperson in Wau town was not about engaging the SPLM party officials into the interest of the USSAP but it was just a community meeting organised by the luo community in Wau and shared by Ukell as a community elder,” said Mathew Achor.
