BOR, January 13, 2016 [Gurtong] – The Ugandan community living in Jonglei state capital have appreciated the way they are treated by the local residents of Jonglei State.

The Vice Chairman of the Ugandan community, Mambo Saidi said all the foreign nationals doing business activities in Jonglei State capital of Bor have not been neglected by the State government.

Saidi said appreciated the security accorded to them by the State government in order to conduct their businesses smoothly.

“We have no more challenges from security agents, they treat us like brothers,” he said.

“It was during the 2013 crisis whereby three Ugandan nationals where killed but since that time up to now there have been no cases of killings of Ugandans in Jonglei,” he said.

“We are all Africans; we have to cooperate as brothers and sisters. South Sudanese are there in Uganda but they are treated well. Am urging South Sudanese to do so to us too here in South Sudan” He said.
