Bus falls into Himachal Gorge, 15 dead

Manali: A group of 15 people, including eight women, were killed when a private bus skidded off the road and fell into the Himachal Gorge, police informed on Sunday. Another accident also left seven people injured, happened in Gamur near Keylong, the headquarters of Lahaul-Spiti district late night.

Superintendent of Police Vimal Gupta said that, “The rescue members are using ropes to go down into 150 meters deep water to get out the dead bodies of the water. Those people were belonged to a specific cultural group.” The injured people are admitted in the hospital, treatment is going on. The bodies will be sent to Leh, some 250 kilometer from Keylong, Monday morning. The members of the cultural group were belonged to Leh in Laddak district of Jammu & Kashmir & on their way to Keylong to participate in a festival.
