Meng Jianzhu, Chinese Vice-Prime Minister arrived in Islamabad yesterday. This is considered an unambiguous message to the US not to think of attacking Pakistan. This visit of Meng Jianzhu is a show of support to the country.
Chinese Vice-Prime Minister was talking to the media where he said that he promised that China would not be ready to leave Pakistan in crisis.
Mr Meng Jianzhu is expected to 
become the next Prime Minister of China. This is very important to note that Beijing has given us the highest level of support on the diplomatic level.
The visit of Mr Jianzhu shows a strict warning to the US to stay within its limits.
The Pakistani officials welcomed the visit of Mr Jianzhu. “Our view is, and it is also shared by authorities in Beijing to an extent, that this will send a strong signal to the world that Pakistan is not alone, an emerging world power is standing behind it,” an official said.
Some important meetings were held with Chinese vice Premier Meng Jianzhu. The two countries signed a number of technical and economic cooperation agreements. Mr Jianzhu affirmed that China’s strong support to Pakistan will always be there.
2011 is being celebrated as Pak-China Friendship Year. The visit of Mr Meng Jianzhu was pre-scheduled and it has made the Pak-US ties more significant.
