With constant efforts to come down to a conclusion on the decision for ties between the United States and Pakistan over NATO supplies, the Parliamentary Committee on National Security (PCNS) is expected to submit the final draft of their decision by the evening of Thursday.

The decision of the PCNS will be finalized today after all the feedback from opposition parties has also been incorporated into the report, which includes Jamiat-e-Ulema as well, as Mulana Fazl-ur-Rehman joined back the committee but did not give up on his stance of not allowing NATO supplies to pass through Pakistan anymore.

The President of Jamiat-e-Ulema Fazal-ur-Rehman had walked out of the session of the committee a couple of days back and boycotted the committee on grounds that his statement is not given value in the discussion and claimed that the decision about resuming the NATO supplies has already been made and there is no need for him to sit with a committee where his opinion is not taken into account. Seeing the report of PCNS getting further delayed with Fazal-ur-Rehman not in the committee anymore, President Asif Ali Zardari conducted a meeting with Rehman and urged him to sit through the workings of the final report. Rehman agreed to his request but said that he will not move away from his stance of not allowing NATO supplies to pass through Pakistan.
