Umno information Chief Datuk Ahmad Maslan has denied all allegations against the party and Barisan Nasional indicating their involvement in the pornographic videos. Ahmad said they have nothing to do with the tapes involving Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) top guns.

“We have better things to do, like governing the country, than fixing cameras in hotel rooms. We also do not campaign based on videos. Instead, we focus on good leaders, good parties and policies. I don’t know who did it or who is behind the videos but they’re definitely not our work,” said Ahmad.

He further warned the opposition for blaming Umno for all the negative blogging and publicity. He said the bloggers have their own work and they have nothing to do with them. He said people have complete freedom over their thoughts and speech.

“These people in PKR seem to know more about the videos than us,” said Ahmad.

On the other hand, PKR secretary-general Datuk Saifuddin Nasution has accused Umno-BN for the two upcoming pornographic videos involving de facto leader, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Anwar’s daughter and party vice-president, Nurul Izzah Anwar.

“This is a game of perception. That is why we want to tell the people first of these digitally-manipulated images and videos. The agents did not state when and how the videos will be released. They just wanted us to know that they were in possession of these material,” said Saifuddin.
