The newly anointed campaign committee chief Narendra Modi is scheduled to address over 1500 party members – including senior leaders – in Bihar via teleconference on Saturday. Gujarat CM will officially set foot as Bharatiya Janata Party’s key strategist and exhibit his new authority.
Modi is planning to give election tips in his address to party workers through video link. Hundreds of BJP members from the state level down to the panchayat level will listen to Modi’s election strategy for the upcoming polls.
“The 2014 polls will be the main agenda. We will seek his guidance on how to win all 40 Lok Sabha seats in Bihar,” said Bihar BJP leader Sanjay Mayukh.
According to BJP president Mangal Pandey, the teleconferencing will take place from 6pm-7pm. The audience would be divided into three categories. Five focal persons from each group will be directly talking to Modi to make the session interactive.
Bihar BJP chief explained that the groups will comprise state working committee members and district party office bearers, district and block level presidents, and party members at panchayat level and those belonging to social organizations.
Recently, Bihar Chief Minister and Janata Dal(U) leader Nitish Kumar parted ways with BJP in Bihar, breaking the 17-year-old BJP-JD(U) ties over Modi’s anointment as campaign committee chief in the BJP.
