Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf released the new promo for their long march or the Tsunami March on the 14th of August. The new video, titled “Aik Aur Qadam Barha”, has gone viral and working towards encouraging every PTI supporter to join Imran Khan on this historical day.
The critics belonging to the ruling party that is the Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N) blame Imran Khan for changing the Independence Day into a day of chaos and for working towards derailing the government. A leader of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Siddiqul Farooq, said that Imran Khan should present an unconditional apology to the nation for his designs of turning the Independence Day into “Youm-e-Fasad” [day of anarchy]. “Imran Khan is hell-bent to hold dialogue with those who are murderers of 60,000 innocent people, involved in destruction of defence installations and mosques, but instead he is reluctant to hold talks with the government that wants to eradicate terrorism,” said Farooq.
While on the other hand, all big parties of Pakistan including the Pakistan People’s Party and Pakistan Awami Tehreek are ready to join hands with PTI and join them in their cause to bring a transparent electoral reform in the country. All agree that the country needs an electoral reform and most of the leaders say that the present government is not a freely elected government.
