After a two day trip from Lahore, the members and the chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf, finally made it to their destination, Islamabad and the long march changed into a sit-in which the former cricketer addressed early Saturday morning as soon as he reached Islamabad.

The two day trip brought a lot of challenges for the PTI workers as well as PTI chief. The Azadi march started with a huge crowd cheering for Imran Khan and a distance which would have taken one and a half hours, took about 12 hours instead. When the leader finally left Lahore and the PTI rally reached the city bordering Lahore, Gujranwala, another challenge stood there waiting for them. About 300-400 Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz workers stood at the sides of the GT road with huge sharp stones in hand and threw them at the PTI workers as well as at the container in which Imran Khan and other PTI leaders were travelling. Four supporters were injured whereas windows of several cars and buses were broken.

Finally when the PTI leader reached Islamabad, a heavy downpour welcomed him. All the PTI supporters already there started enjoying the weather and Imran Khan boosted their morale by thanking them and telling them that he prefers dying in the process to free Pakistan from the Sharif brothers. A lot of Internally Displaced Persons had also joined the PTI rally to show their support to Imran Khan.
