Chris Carter is scheduled to say his parting words and take off from the Parliament today. While the labor head, Phil Goff, is evading questions on whether Carter will take the chance for spreading more criticism and scrutiny against him and the party.

Goff reportedly says: “It’s up to Chris Carter what he puts in his valedictory address. I wish him well for his future career. I’m not attempting to influence what he might or might not say that’s up to him.”

After saying goodbye to the Parliament, Carter plans to head towards Afghanistan and work with United Nations against corruption.
