An Independent Commission against Corruption is looking into accusations that Mr Medich and the former boxer Lucky Gattellari, arranged for Mr Macdonald to take pleasure from sexual services for introducing Mr Medich to energy officials, whom he hoped could benefit his business interests.
38-year-old Tiffanie is an escort who testified that on the night of July 15, 2009, Mr Gattellari had asked her to arrive at the Tuscany Ristorante in Leichhardt carrying the sexiest dress.
“This man was not young. I cannot describe him well because the lights in the room were not bright. I know he was not handsome but believe he was very tall and strong,” she told the commission.
“I remember after he came into the room that we talked initially and he had removed his coat and hung it up. He told me I was tiny and I told him he was tall. A short time later we both got onto the bed and I removed all my clothes except my underwear. I think he kept his clothes on and then he kissed me very roughly.
“I felt very reluctant to be kissed by him because I didn’t like him, and he said something like, ‘If you knew who I was, you would be very surprised’.”
According to her 32-year-old friend Cindy, Tiffanie had complained that the man in the hotel was “very gross and sick”.
