Police lets go stab suspect

Police authorities let go the woman who could be involved in stabbing of two men on Friday morning. No charges have been filed against her and she was allowed to leave police premises after questioning on Friday.

Emergency services were called in at 1 am for medical help where two persons were reported to be stabbed on the northern beach side of Sydney. The stabbed individuals consisted of a man and a woman. The man was reported to be 37 years of age and had a torn arm which was severely bleeding whereas the woman, 35 years of age, had wounds on her back. Police spotted them on the Barrenjoey Road and called in paramedics for immediate help. The two were given first aid and taken to the nearby hospital.

As per initial investigations, a woman of about 26 years of age had allegedly stabbed the man and the woman in a nearby unit in Seaview Avenue a little while before the crime was reported. Police authorities had spotted the suspected stabber and taken her into custody where she was questioned about the incident over the night at Dee Why police station but was released after the questioning session ended. She was not accused of any charges and was allowed to walk away without charges.

Police authorities have yet not informed the reason of release of the suspected stabber and said that investigations are in process.
