The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge with Prince GeorgeKensington Palace has announced on Monday Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton are “very pleased” to reveal that they are expecting their second child.

The Duke of Cambridge has said while addressing during Oxford University’s visit to open its new £21 million China Centre that his wife is “feeling OK” after receiving treatment for hyperemesis gravidarum following her pregnancy with second child – adding that he was going home to “look after her”.

Prince William has also added: “It’s been a tricky few days – week or so – but obviously we’re basically thrilled, it’s great news, and early days.

“We’re hoping things settle down and she feels a bit better.

“It’s important that we all focus on the big news, and the big international and domestic things going on at the moment. That’s where my thoughts are.”

According to the Kensington Palace spokesperson, the Duchess of Cambridge, 32, is currently treated at the couple’s London home Kensington Palace privately by doctors.

The first royal baby, George Alexander Louis was born on July 22, 2013 in London’s St. Mary’s Hospital and is 13 months old now.

The Palace spokesperson has told that Prince William’s grandmother and the Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth II and the members of both families were “delighted” at the news.

British Prime Minister David Cameron has wished the royal couple as he said: “On behalf of the whole country, I am sure the House will join me in congratulating them on this fantastic news and wishing them well in the months ahead.”
