Reports confirm that the four young victims killed from a collision between a sports car and an unlicensed quad bike on a country road were all friends celebrating the 16th birthday party of one of the victims. The alleged birthday-girl, Terrie Lynch, died at the scene of the accident in the early hours of Sunday morning. Whereas her friends including 20-year-old Ryan Beal, 20-year-old Brandon Brown and 18-year-old Alexandra Binns passed away too.

In the course of investigating the case, detectives are questioning two men, aged 21 and 22, who were arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving. According to the police, it believes the two suspects were deriving a bronze Nissan 350Z sports car that was “in collision with the rear of the quad bike” on the A6201 between Upton and Hemsworth, West Yorkshire, at 12.30am on Sunday.

An almost 21-years-old Mr Beal was a window fitter and his family described him as a rugby mad father-of-one who loved quad biking. According to Beal’2 26-year-old brother, Steve Beal, “he used to take his quad bike out quite a lot off road but I don’t know what he was doing with it out on the road.” Beal added that “he was a caring dad. He had played rugby for around 10 years from the age of seven, only stopping when his daughter Ruby was born. He was into all sorts from fishing, to going out with the dog, but his baby, Ruby, was his pride and joy he loved her to bits.”
