Scotland’s political leaders released some really strong Christmas messages yesterday. The First Minister of Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon, got together with several eight-year-old children who she stressed were going to shape the country’s future. The video was filmed at Edinburgh’s Forthview Primary.

Whereas on the other hand, the Christmas message by Scottish Lib Dem leader, Willie Rennie, focused on Syrian refugees and appreciated Scotland’s response to the crisis. She mentioned that “the response we have seen to the refugee crisis in Scotland makes me enormously proud and gives me hope for the future. It is often the most difficult circumstances that bring out the best in people. In many respects, we have seen the very best of Scotland this year.”

Meanwhile, Scottish Labour leader Kezia Dugdale mentioned in her Christmas message that everyone should appreciate the emergency service workers because they keep our hospitals open and streets safe in the holiday season. She pointed out that “they quietly go about their business all year round without much fuss,” adding that “now is the time of year to show our appreciation.”

On the other hand, Scottish Tory leader Ruth Davidson advised people that while they are celebrating Christmas, they should remember those who might be lonely. In her message, Davidson said that “I hope everyone can find time to enjoy themselves, but also to make those precious couple of phone calls or visits to those who – at this time of year more than ever – need to hear a friendly voice or see a familiar face.”

  1. I wish as HAPPY A CHRISTMAS as the cruelties of prison hell-on-earth allows for ALL POLITICAL PRISONERS presently banged up in Her Majesty’s Prisons in Scotland because of Wee Nippy’s royalist, fascist police state that she claims to be “independent” of, even though she appoints the Lord Advocate, the chief prosecutor.

So the very fact that FM Sturgeon is not sacking Frank Mulholland means she’s very happy with every political prisoner which Mulholland and the Queen’s courts have got banged up this Holy night and every other night or are trying to get banged up in pending court cases, like the Twitter Trial where I am to stand trial in February for my political views.

Let us in Scotland free all political prisoners and never again lock people up for expressing their political viewpoints.

“Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.” – sacomment_ID Jesus.

Since Queen Elizabeth has inherited the throne of Scotland and a lot of the rest of the earth too does that make her maj the “meek inheriting the earth”? I think not.

We should be aware how the monarchy twists religion to suit its own ends.

“God save the Queen” – they have Wee Nippy and other lackeys singing.

We Scots would be better off with a First Minster who was more concerned with saving the Scots than saving the Queen.

God, please DON’T save the Queen. Save THE SCOTS instead!

    That’s my prayer this Christmas
