Jermaine Phillips on the run to Edmonton after murder in Brampton

Investigators from the 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau believe that a shooting suspect is evading arrest in Edmonton, Alberta.

On Saturday, November 27, 2010, at approximately 4:30 a.m., police responded to a Lauraglen Crescent address for two victims who had been shot.

The investigation has identified, Jermaine PHILLIPS, a 29 year-old male of no fixed address, as the suspect responsible for shooting both victims. Officers have obtained a Canada-wide arrest warrant for two counts of Attempted Murder.

PHILLIPS is described as black, 5’ 7” tall, weighing 165 lbs, with brown eyes and a shaved head.

Investigators believe that PHILLIPS is in the Edmonton area and are asking that members of the public not approach him as he may be armed and is dangerous.

Police are advising PHILLIPS to contact his lawyer and make arrangements to turn himself in.
