Coquitlam man Christopher James Krake victim of targeted killing

The investigation into the targeted shooting, on Wednesday July 06, 2011 in Coquitlam, continues.

The homicide victim has been identified as Christopher James KRAKE, age 24, of Coquitlam BC.

Investigators were at the scene of the homicide in the 3000 block of Spuraway Ave, Coquitlam BC, on Wednesday and concluded the scene examination at approximately 6:00pm on Thursday evening. As a result of that extensive search it has been determined that no homes were impacted by this shooting.

KRAKE was known to police and investigators believe that his criminal lifestyle was a contributing factor in his death. KRAKE was known to associate with gang members and was with Chris REDDY, on June 24, 2011, when REDDY was shot.
