Junior Carnival Yorkgate Parade, Road closures, TTC modified route

On Saturday, July 16, 2011, the Festival Management Committee will host the annual Scotiabank Junior Carnival Yorkgate Parade.

As a result, the following road closures will take place:

– Shoreham Drive, from Murray Ross Parkway to Jane Street, between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.,
– Jane Street, from Finch Avenue West to Steeles Avenue West, between 11 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

The parade will start at 11 a.m. and proceed over the following route:

Formation Area: Shoreham Drive, from Jane Street to Murray Ross Parkway,
– west on Shoreham Drive,
– south on Jane Street,
– west on York Gate Boulevard,

Dispersal Area: York Gate Boulevard, south of Hullmar Drive.

Drivers may experience traffic delays.

This event will proceed regardless of weather conditions.

The TTC will maintain service with a modified route for Jane Street bus service.
