The Hamilton Police Service is requesting the assistance of the public to help locate a missing 74 year old male.

Mario Beltrano was last seen yesterday morning leaving his west mountain residence at approximately 8:45 am. He had indicated that he was going to Jackson Square, however had not returned.

Police and family are concerned for his safety at this time. His mobility is good, however requires a cane to assist him with his walking.

Mario is known to frequent Jackson Square and the downtown core area. He uses the HSR bus system to get around the city.

Mario Beltrano is described as:

Male white, short grey hair, 5’8”, 200 lbs, and walks with a four legged cane. He was last seen wearing a dark blue baseball cap with “Beacon” on it, grey sweater, blue vest, black dress pants, a grey, red and blue coloured striped tie and black running shoes. Mr. Beltrano was also wearing a gold cross necklace and gold rings.
