San Antonio saw the stabbing of an 18-year old young teenage boy by his own stepfather. The stabbing is said to be done as a result of a heated argument. The unfortunate incident took place at Southwest Side apartment on Tuesday night.
The 18-year old boy has been identified by the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office as Joe Gutierrez. The victim was stabbed in the left side of his upper chest by a sharp instrument. He collapsed right outside the apartment. His step father has been identified as Cayentano Guajardo, 45.
The instrument with which the boy was stabbed has been identified as a glass lid for a cake. It has been reported that Guajardo was also stabbed on the head.
Gutierrez’s girlfriend was also injured in the incident. His mother however was uninjured and present at the scene of crime. Guajardo left the place right after committing the crime. He is now detained in the jail after being taken to the University Hospital by Bexar County Authorities.
