According to a new poll conducted by Siena Research Institute regarding the upcoming elections for Congressional seat, Republicans are favoured to win the seat as opposed to the Democrats. The survey showed that the Republican Bob  Turner held a 50% advantage over Democrat David Weprin.

The seat of Brooklyn and Queens-area has shown favour towards the Democrats. However, according to Siena College pollster Steven Greenberg “Republican Turner heads into the final days of the campaign with a six-point lead in this heavily Democratic district after having trailed Democrat Weprin by six points just four weeks ago,” On the other hand, Public Policy Polling, uploaded a tweet on Twitter mentioning that its initial results showed Weprin in “big trouble.”

Initially Weprin was a favourite candidate for the seat of Democratic Representative, Anthony Weiner. However, his campaign had its weak points that were exploited by Turner, a retired cable network executive who outlined that Weiner’s policies were similar to the policies of Barack Obama. He used this weapon since the rating of the President had immensely decreased in the area.

However, with four days till the actual election the final verdict can not be given.
