A strong earthquake shakes the Vancouver Island, but no threats of something as disastrous as Tsunami. According to US Geological Survey, an earthquake on the scale of 6.7-magnitude earthquake clouted Vancouver Island this Friday 12:41 p.m. local time.

According to the US Geological Survey, the epicenter of the 6.7-magnitude earthquake was to be found 135 kilometers south-southeast of the settlement of Port Hardy, and about 280 kilometers west of the city of Vancouver. The USGS also reported that the epicenter was almost 50 miles underground.
