The Hamilton Police Service Division One Detectives is conttinue to seek the assistance of the public in locating a man wanted for a home invasion robbery and a serious assault.
On Sunday, May 8th, 2011, at approximately 1:30 a.m., it is alleged that Anthony SEARS, at a home on West Ave. N., struck a 34 yr. old male in the face with a glass bottle causing him serious but non-life threatening injuries. The victim fled the home and called for police assistance.
On Tuesday, July 26th, 2011, at approximately 4:00 a.m., it is further alleged that Anthony SEARS, while armed with a handgun and in the company of two unidentified males, forced his way into an apartment on St. Joseph’s Dr. and assaulted a 34 yr. old male resident. The victim was able to break free and seek assistance from another tenant. He was treated for non-life threatening injuries at the hospital.
The Hamilton Police Service Division One Detectives continued to investigate and identified SEARS as the person involved in both incidents. They are now seeking the assistance of the public in locating him.
Anthony SEARS, 24 yrs. of no fixed address is described as:
• Male
• White
• Medium build
• 5’9”
• 155 lbs.
• Brown hair
• Blue eyes
Anthony SEARS should be considered dangerous.
